Single Incision (Single Hole) Surgery
What is Single Incision (Single Hole) Surgery?
This is a specialised surgical technique in which a procedure is performed through a single small incision or access point, resulting in a single, hidden scar. This approach aims to reduce the number and size of incisions required for a surgical procedure.
Single-incision surgery takes the concept of minimally invasive surgery further by using only one small incision, often located in a hidden or inconspicuous area, to access the surgical site. In traditional minimally invasive surgeries, several small incisions are made for the surgeon to access the surgical site.
The single incision surgery will result in an even more faster recovery period, minimal scarring and shorter healing time.
